The Palmer PEABI is more than a simple switcher for two sources, it also provides level adjustment of microphone or line signals. Whether microphone or line signal, the PEABI toggles silently between the two inputs permitting fast and simple signal comparison and the connection of two sources to one input. Three slide switches select 15 dB of attenuation for input A and 6, 15 or 21 dB for input B. A ground lift switch eliminates earth loop hum. The PEABI is housed in a solid metal case with extended edges for optimum protection of the inputs and output. A red LED clearly indicates which input is active. Pre-drilled holes permit simple and secure mounting in a rack or on a pedalboard. The PEABI's circuitry is all-passive. A 9 V block battery is required to power the LED.
The PAN-04 consists of a housing containing the equivalent of two PAN-01s, making it a dual channel passive DI box. The balanced output is achieved with a high quality transformer in the Mumetall housingthat was specially developed for this purpose. The PAN02 PRO can be powered either with a 9 V battery or 48 V phantom power. A two-colour LED indicates which source supplies the power.
The Palmer TINO SYSTEM - The clever solution for switching two amps to 1 cabinetAmbitious guitarists often use two amplifiers in order to obtain different basic sounds. However, transport, space restrictions and the decrease in output associated with PA speakers can be very inconvenient. This is where TINO S promises to help. The switcher system allows you to use two amplifiers with only one box as an alternative. Regardless of whether you use tube amplifiers that require getting a load, or transistor models. Even a mixed combination is possible without any problems. The switch-over between the amplifiers can be operated via a pressure switch on the device or via an optional standard foot switch or switching system. If the switch cannot be done with a switching system, a standard foot switch can be connected to the corresponding 6.3 mm jack. (Requires a switch, not push-buttons!)TINOS routes the guitar signal to the chosen amplifier, while the second unused amplifier is turned off to prevent unwanted interference. (As if the potentiometer on the guitar was switched off). The gain from the instrument input to output is one (Unity Gain). The built-in buffer only converts the impedance, so that a high-impedance guitar becomes less prone to interference. When the guitar signal is switched, the speaker is switched simultaneously, while the speaker output from the mute amplifier is connected to a load (Dummy Load). Therefore, tube amplifiers are absolutely safe from dangerous idling. If you connect two amplifiers with one another, a heavy buzzing sound often overlays the guitar signal. This undesirable effect is known as ground loop and occurs between mains-operated devices because of double grounding. The TWO IN ONE prevents this from happening by decoupling the outputs to the amplifiers using high-quality isolating repeaters.A smooth switching between the amplifiers also ensures that the process takes place without crackling in the loudspeaker. The power supply is provided via the supplied 9V power adapter.
The PAN08 is a multifunctional device. Each of the four channels can be used independently as an active DI box, line isolation box or booster. The combination socket input accepts unbalanced and balanced signals. The output has dual transformer balanced XLR jacks (front and rear). The signal level can be attenuated by 20 dB for microphone inputs, but can also be boosted in three stages by up to 18 dB for LINE inputs if necessary. With an output level of +12 dBu on a load of 600 Ohms with 0.05 % THD / 40 Hz and an output noise level of less than -110 dBu, the unit meets even high professional standards. One special feature that is worthy of mention is battery power. The supply voltage may range from 9 to 18 V. Thus the PAN08 can also be used without mains power outdoors.
Standard active DI box. Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance ( 1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 dB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation. Metal case 110 x 73 x 42 mm.

Palmer Power Attenuator - Control the volume of your guitar ampThe PDI06 is a power attenuator for live applications. The device is connected between the amplifier output and the speaker cabinet. It makes it possible to use the popular power stage distortion of tube amplifiers while reducing the associated high volume level. This permits practical volume reduction in six increments from 100% to 18% for stage and practice room situations. An additional setting mutes the speaker completely; the PDI06 then functions as a LOAD BOX and absorbs the entire output power of the amplifier. This mode of operation is useful, for example, when connecting an amplifier equipped with a speaker cabinet emulation directly to the mixing desk using an existing line-out and loud volume levels in the recording booth are undesirable. The unit has an input for the speaker signal from the amplifier and two outputs for connecting speaker cabinets. The total impedance of the speakers must equal the value shown on the PDI06. For example: the outputs of a PDI06 that is specified for 8 ohms can be connected to one 8 ohm cabinet or two 16 ohm cabinets (the 16 ohm version has only one output). The output of the (tube) amplifier is also set to 8 ohms.
The PDI 03 JB Speaker Simulator is a professional passive DI box for guitar amps. Providing a frequency compensated, transformer balanced direct feed to mixing consoles or soundcards it connects between the amplifier output and loudspeaker or equivalent dummy load. The PDI 03 JB has been developed for live, studio and home recording applications to eliminate the need for time consuming mic placement and mic-related problems.Designed to Joe Bonamassa's high standards for a huge but tightly focused tone the exclusive JB switch brings the output signal to the fore and takes it "right in your face." The PDI 03 JB's dual speaker simulation filters are carefully voiced to authentically replicate the frequency response of classic and contemporary loudspeakers and cabinets. The unit's input sensitivity is adjustable for amps up to 200 watts or line and instrument level equipment.Delivering consistent guitar tone from show to show the PDI-03 JB can also be used to add realistic speaker flavors to preamps and dirt boxes in direct recording applications. The rugged powder coated steel enclosure features high quality Amphenol connectors and a ground lift to remove hum resulting from earth loops. For amp DI WITHOUT speakers a dummy load with matching impedance must be connected. We recommend the Palmer Power Attenuator PDI06 and the Palmer Dual Load Box PLB2X8.
If you need to pick up the pure sound of your guitar, bass or keyboard, you need a high-quality DI box which does not alter the natural sound or add any noise. The Palmer Wipper is a single channel passive DI box with a high-quality transformer, which also handles high levels without distorting or losing the pure sound of your instrument. With a ratio of 10:1, it can be used for optimal impedance and level adjustment to connect instrument signals from guitars, bass, keyboards or synthesisers to a balanced microphone input. At the same time galvanic isolation prevents ground loop hum, so that the signal remains pure, clear and ultra-low noise, without any interference. Thanks to a switchable 30 dB pre-attenuation, the Wipper can also be looped in between amplifier output and the loudspeaker. The Palmer Wipper is an easy-to-use problem solver. Its passive construction means it does not need any batteries or a phantom power. This makes it extremely fail-safe and also virtually indestructible thanks to its aluminum and steel casing. With its ability to retain the natural sound of your instrument, it also cuts a fine figure studio and live environments. This way you can simply be true to your sound.
The concept behind Palmer's Cab Merger may be very simple, but the unit fills an important gap! Have you ever wanted to connect two guitar cabinets to just one amplifier output? It's quite simple with the PCABM! In addition, you can choose parallel or series wiring. For instance, two 8 ohm cabinets can be connected for a total load of 4 ohms (parallel) or 16 ohms (in series). The device is entirely passive and does not affect tone in any way.
In its new incarnation, the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 delivers an extended range of authentic tube amplifier tones from high headroom ultra clean to maxed out high gain distortion. With 3-position selector switches for amplifier design, gain structure and loudspeaker miking simulation the MK 2's hot rodded circuitry lets you easily configure vintage and modern sounds as well as your own while high performance op amps provide superior S/N ratio. For even more flexibility the Pocket Amp MK 2 sports master controls for drive and output level plus a 2-band EQ that has been carefully tailored for guitar applications.Featuring a durable die cast aluminium enclosure with balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm outputs in addition to 3.5 mm AUX input and headphones jacks the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 is more than just the go-to tool for direct recording. It doubles as a practice amp, overdrive and distortion pedal, standard guitar DI box when bypassed and replaces your stage amp when used with a sound and monitor system. The Pocket Amp MK 2 works on a 9V battery or optional power adapter, e.g. Palmer PW9V.
The PEDALBAY® 40 PB set combines the Palmer PEDALBAY® 40 and the Palmer WT PB 40 power supply with 8 single-isolated outputs. Due to the patented integration, the power supply can be exchanged and fixed with the rear rail of the PEDALBAY® 40. A separate transport for power supply and PEDALBAY® is no longer necessary.
The Palmer PAN16 is an 8 channel passive DI box in a 19" 1U rack format. Through the special MERGE LINK/IN function, the front LINK output can be used as a second input. The signal is then mono merged with the one from the INPUT jack through to the output. Thus, the PAN16 offers a maximum of 16 inputs. Two PAD buttons enable an attenuation of 10, 20 or 30 dB. The XLR outputs are electrically isolated and balanced via transformer. 8 additional LINK-sockets are also available on the rear panel of the device.
The Palmer PAN04A is 2-channel DI box for feeding asymmetrical and high impedance electric instrument signals into a mixing desk’s microphone inputs. It delivers a transformer balanced, low impedance signal to the outputs and eliminates mains hum and interference caused by ground loops. The active switch leaves the frequency response unaffected and achieves a high dynamic range. In addition to 6.35 mm direct outputs and -30 dB switchable input attenuation, the DI box also features a mono output that sums both channels. The PAN04A is designed to be exceptionally robust and is suitable for both stage and studio. It can be powered with 9 to 24 V DC mains adapters or phantom power when two outputs are connected to a mixer.
Palmer Power Attenuator - Control the volume of your guitar amp The PDI06 is a power attenuator for live applications. The device is connected between the amplifier output and the speaker cabinet. It makes it possible to use the popular power stage distortion of tube amplifiers while reducing the associated high volume level. This permits practical volume reduction in five increments from 100% to 18% for stage and practice room situations. An additional level makes the speaker completely mute; the PDI06 then functions as a LOAD BOX and absorbs the entire output power of the amplifier. Example: the outputs of a PDI06, that is specified for 8 ohms, can be connected to one 8 ohm cabinet or two 16 ohm cabinets (the 16 ohm version has only one output). The output of the (tube) amplifier is also set to 8 ohms.
