BRIDGE 4P
BRIDGE 4P

Are you aiming to capture the pure signal from a guitar, bass, or keyboard without any noise and tonal loss, even over long cable runs? In that case, you need a DI box - and a high-quality one at that - to ensure your sound won't be compromised. The BRIDGE 4P from Palmer is a 4-channel passive DI box in 19" rack format with high-quality transformers that handle even high levels without distorting or losing the pure sound of your instrument. Each channel is equipped with a 1/4" jack input, a THRU output (for forwarding the input signals to an amplifier, for example), and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs - one at the front and one at the rear. With a transformation ratio of 10:1, the transformers ensure optimum impedance and level matching for connecting instrument signals from guitar, bass, keyboard or synthesizer to a balanced microphone input. At the same time galvanic isolation prevents ground loop hum, so that the signal remains pure, clear and ultra-low noise, without any interference. Thanks to a switchable 30dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4P can be fed with extremely high input levels in addition to line signals, which means it can even be looped in between the amplifier output and speakers, for example. The Audio-Over-Cat output enables the signals of all 4 channels to be routed via a single Cat (Cat5e or higher) cable. This saves material, space and time. Due to its passive design, the BRIDGE 4P requires no power supply, which makes it extremely fail-safe.The BRIDGE 4P is the ideal solution for audio technicians, semi-professional and professional musicians as well as recording studios that value reliable and durable products.

Are you aiming to capture the pure signal from a guitar, bass, or keyboard without any noise and tonal loss, even over long cable runs? In that case, you need a DI box - and a high-quality one at that - to ensure your sound won't be compromised. The BRIDGE 4A from Palmer is a 4-channel, active DI box in 19" rack format for feeding the unbalanced and high-impedance signals of electric instruments such as guitar, bass, keyboard or synthesiser into the microphone inputs of a mixing console. It provides a transformer-balanced, low-impedance signal at the outputs and eliminates mains hum and interference caused by ground loops. This keeps the sound unadulterated: brilliant, low-noise and without interference. Each channel is equipped with a 6.3 mm jack input, a THRU-Out (for forwarding the input signals to an amplifier, for example), and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs - one at the front and one at the rear. Thanks to a switchable 30dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4A can be fed with extremely high input levels in addition to line signals, which means it can even be looped in between the amplifier output and speakers, for example. The Audio-Over-Cat output enables the signals of all 4 channels to be routed via a single Cat (Cat5e or higher) cable. This saves material, space and time. The active circuit leaves the frequency response unaffected, achieves a high dynamic range and delivers a higher output level than a passive DI box.The BRIDGE 4A is the ideal solution for audio technicians, semi-professional and professional musicians as well as recording studios that value reliable and durable products.

RIVER Elde
RIVER Elde

Are you looking to pick up the raw signal from a guitar, bass or keyboard without noise and tonal loss, even over long cable runs? That's exactly what the Palmer Elde does - simply and reliably. Especially since the Elde is a classic passive DI box, and it even has a dual-channel design. This means you can use it for stereo signals as well as for two different instruments. The inputs are each looped to a THRU Out, allowing the signal to be passed on to the guitar/bass amplifier. For very high level signals, each channel has its own pad switch (-30 dB), so you can also insert the Elde between the amplifier output and the loudspeaker. The output signals are balanced and with low impedance, so that they can withstand even longer cable runs without damage. Impedance conversion and balancing is done passively via a transformer, which also provides galvanic isolation. Each channel has its own ground lift switch to eliminate ground loops. The Palmer Elde is a high-quality two-channel DI box that is extremely easy to use. Due to its passive design, it requires neither batteries nor phantom power. This makes it extremely reliable and failure-proof. With its robust aluminium/steel housing, the Palmer Elde easily withstands rough everyday use on stage, and with its clean, unaltered sound, it also excels perfectly in the recording studio.

RIVER saar
RIVER saar

So, you want to play your guitar or your bass through two amps at the same time? Great idea! The problem is, it hums. And not just a little bit either. In fact, it makes a real racket. Thankfully, the Palmer saar Guitar Splitter box is here to save the day. The saar separates the ground potentials of both amplifiers and prevents ground loop hum when interconnecting multiple amps. The Palmer saar loops through the input signal passively to amp out 1, while an active FET switch branches off the signal for amp out 2. This happens without sound loss, as the FET input level is extremely high impedance. Amp out 2 is also decoupled from the ground circuit by a transformer. Ground loops can be separated by pressing the ground lift switch.  The signal from amp out 2 is low impedance and reliable, so that longer cable runs without sound loss are also possible. An important feature is the phase reverse switch for the second output. The signal polarity of guitar/bass amplifiers is not standardised. Two amps operated simultaneously can be in-phase or out-of-phase. In the latter case, the sound is unpleasantly thin - which can be resolved by pressing the phase reverse switch on the Palmer saar. Of course, you can also use the phase reverse feature as a sound design tool if you wish: the out-of-phase sound can sometimes be a great creative option! The Palmer saar is a simple and effective tool that lets you enjoy the larger-than-life sound of two amps simultaneously - without any hum or interference.

RIVER kyll
RIVER kyll

Consumer devices, as well as many professional keyboards such as synthesisers and digital pianos as well as some small mixers have unbalanced outputs. In order to connect them to a professional sound system and to avoid interfering noise over long cable runs, balanced signal routing is needed. For this purpose, the Palmer kyll handles the necessary signal balancing.Due to the galvanic isolation via a transformer, the kyll also eliminates ground loops. To do this, simply engage the ground lift switch. Devices that already have balanced outputs also benefit from this, since noise can occur even here. The Palmer kyll reliably eliminates hum and buzz. The Palmer kyll is capable of very high levels. Compared to conventional line isolators for media applications, it can process much "hotter" input signals without unwanted distortion being audible: up to + 20 dBu! But the kyll can also process quieter signals without causing any sound alteration or noise, because it works purely passively with large isolating transformers. This makes the Palmer kyll extremely easy to use and fail-safe, as it requires neither batteries nor phantom power. Conveniently, the inputs are designed as combo sockets that accept jack or XLR connectors. Adapters are unnecessary! The balanced outputs are designed as professional XLR sockets. The kyll line isolation box is a universal problem solver for eliminating humming ground loops. When connecting unbalanced equipment, the signal is simultaneously balanced. Whether at home, at lectures, in the rehearsal room, on stage, in clubs or at large events, the Palmer kyll ensures a clean sound without noise.

Reamping is a valuable recording technique used by many sound engineers. It lets you experiment at leisure by running guitar, bass, keyboard, drum and even vocal tracks through amplifiers and effects pedals. As with many other techniques, you need the right tools. The Palmer trave is a passive reamping box that requires no external power supply. Inside is a specially developed transformer that converts the balanced line signal into an unbalanced Hi-Z signal with perfectly matched impedance for your guitar amplifier or effect pedal. At the same time, the trave prevents ground loops, which are otherwise almost unavoidable when you combine an audio interface or mixer output with a guitar amp or effects pedal. The input of this reamping box allows you to switch between consumer (-10 dBV) and professional (+4 dBu) levels, and the output level is continuously adjustable, so you can drive your amp or pedals just the way you like it.With the Palmer trave passive re-amplification box, you can add new creative sounds and timbres to your music and ultimately be true to your sound.
