If you need to pick up the pure sound of your guitar, bass or keyboard, you need a high-quality DI box which does not alter the natural sound or add any noise. The Palmer Wipper is a single channel passive DI box with a high-quality transformer, which also handles high levels without distorting or losing the pure sound of your instrument. With a ratio of 10:1, it can be used for optimal impedance and level adjustment to connect instrument signals from guitars, bass, keyboards or synthesisers to a balanced microphone input. At the same time galvanic isolation prevents ground loop hum, so that the signal remains pure, clear and ultra-low noise, without any interference. Thanks to a switchable 30 dB pre-attenuation, the Wipper can also be looped in between amplifier output and the loudspeaker. The Palmer Wipper is an easy-to-use problem solver. Its passive construction means it does not need any batteries or a phantom power. This makes it extremely fail-safe and also virtually indestructible thanks to its aluminum and steel casing. With its ability to retain the natural sound of your instrument, it also cuts a fine figure studio and live environments. This way you can simply be true to your sound.
Are you looking to pick up the raw signal from a guitar, bass or keyboard without noise and tonal loss, even over long cable runs? That's exactly what the Palmer Elde does - simply and reliably. Especially since the Elde is a classic passive DI box, and it even has a dual-channel design. This means you can use it for stereo signals as well as for two different instruments. The inputs are each looped to a THRU Out, allowing the signal to be passed on to the guitar/bass amplifier. For very high level signals, each channel has its own pad switch (-30 dB), so you can also insert the Elde between the amplifier output and the loudspeaker. The output signals are balanced and with low impedance, so that they can withstand even longer cable runs without damage. Impedance conversion and balancing is done passively via a transformer, which also provides galvanic isolation. Each channel has its own ground lift switch to eliminate ground loops. The Palmer Elde is a high-quality two-channel DI box that is extremely easy to use. Due to its passive design, it requires neither batteries nor phantom power. This makes it extremely reliable and failure-proof. With its robust aluminium/steel housing, the Palmer Elde easily withstands rough everyday use on stage, and with its clean, unaltered sound, it also excels perfectly in the recording studio.

So, you want to play your guitar or your bass through two amps at the same time? Great idea! The problem is, it hums. And not just a little bit either. In fact, it makes a real racket. Thankfully, the Palmer saar Guitar Splitter box is here to save the day. The saar separates the ground potentials of both amplifiers and prevents ground loop hum when interconnecting multiple amps. The Palmer saar loops through the input signal passively to amp out 1, while an active FET switch branches off the signal for amp out 2. This happens without sound loss, as the FET input level is extremely high impedance. Amp out 2 is also decoupled from the ground circuit by a transformer. Ground loops can be separated by pressing the ground lift switch. The signal from amp out 2 is low impedance and reliable, so that longer cable runs without sound loss are also possible. An important feature is the phase reverse switch for the second output. The signal polarity of guitar/bass amplifiers is not standardised. Two amps operated simultaneously can be in-phase or out-of-phase. In the latter case, the sound is unpleasantly thin - which can be resolved by pressing the phase reverse switch on the Palmer saar. Of course, you can also use the phase reverse feature as a sound design tool if you wish: the out-of-phase sound can sometimes be a great creative option! The Palmer saar is a simple and effective tool that lets you enjoy the larger-than-life sound of two amps simultaneously - without any hum or interference.
You've found your perfect amp sound, but somehow it sounds different on every stage? The Palmer ilm speaker simulation DI box removes all the uncertainties of amp micing such as microphone choice, acoustic environment and positioning. Need a little more? Are you looking for a DI box that's not just great for the stage, but that also exploits the full sound potential of your instrument in the studio? The Palmer mosel is a DI box of uncompromising premium quality with useful additional features. Its active switching guarantees a particularly high input impedance for punchy, pure sound. The unbalanced, high impedance signal from magnet and piezo pickups is changed to a low impedance, balanced output signal with no loss of brilliance - even on longer cable runs. The Palmer mosel is also suitable for synthesisers and other electronic keyboards, since it is extraordinarily stable. The output transformer - which offers galvanic separation to eliminate ground loops - can process studio levels of up to +20 dBu. In addition, the mosel is enclosed in Mu-metal to eliminate electromagnetic interference. The Palmer mosel offers two extra special features: a variable pad (-10/20/30 dB) and a boost function (+12 dB). These features allow you to always achieve the optimal level for noise-free recordings. The mosel is also extemely practical because the unbalanced input exists not only in jack format, but also as XLR sockets. This makes unstable adapters unnecessary. The ground lift switch - to separate from ground lifts - also has a soft lift setting. Power for the mosel can be provided either by a 48V phantom power unit or a 9V battery. The Palmer mosel is a high-end active DI box for studio use and demanding PA work. And for times when good is just not good enough! Choose the best - choose the mosel.
Are you looking to pick up a pure guitar, bass, or electric piano signal with all its brilliance and without any tonal alterations? An active DI box offers the best solution - as long as it has the same high-quality construction as the Palmer havel. The havel's low-noise active circuitry allows a higher input impedance than a passive DI box. This means the sound of the instrument is captured without treble or bass losses. High-level input impedance is especially important in interaction with the magnetic pickups in electrical guitars, electric basses and electromechanical electric pianos (e.g. Rhodes), as well as with (passive) piezo pickups for acoustic instruments. However, the Palmer havel is also very well suited to synthesisers and other electronic keyboards, since it offers enough headroom to handle even high-level inputs without unwanted distortion. Of course, the Palmer havel features a THRU output to pass the input signal on to the instrument amplifier. With 30 dB of pre-attenuation activated, the Palmer havel can also be looped in between the amplifier output and the loudspeaker, if you want to include the sound of the amplifier instead of the “raw” instrument signal. The balanced, low-impedance output signal from the Palmer havel is resistant to interference, which enables long cable runs without any loss of sound quality. Thanks to the built-in transformer, the XLR output is galvanically isolated. Any hum loops that may occur can easily be remedied by pressing the ground lift switch. For a power supply, a 48V phantom power unit or a standard 9V battery can be used. We're sure you’ve spent a long time searching for YOUR sound, and have invested a lot of time and money to get your instrument to sound the way it should. The Palmer havel transmits your sound faithfully and free of interference. This means your sound reaches the listener exactly as nature intended!
The more complex the setup, the higher the chance of ground loops. With the Palmer iller Line Isolation Box, everything is quiet again so you can enjoy your audio without humming and buzzing. The Palmer iller is an isolation transformer in a robust aluminium and steel housing. It separates the ground potentials of two devices so that equalising currents are prevented and only your sound is transmitted - clean and without interference. The only difference to its sister model wupper is that the Palmer iller is equipped with a combo socket on the input side that can accept both jack and XLR connectors. This eliminates the need for adapter cables. The Palmer iller was developed for guitar and bass applications; however, due to its high-quality sound characteristics, it is just as suitable for keyboards and hi-fi equipment. The input (XLR/jack) can be balanced or unbalanced and the output (XLR) is balanced. This means that the Palmer iller can also be used to balance unbalanced signals, which allows longer cable runs without affecting the sound. Because of its passive design, the iller requires neither batteries nor phantom power. This makes it extremely failure-proof.The Palmer iller is a simple, efficient hum killer: you connect it between two devices and the noise is gone. Sometimes it can be that simple!
