Reamping is a valuable recording technique used by many sound engineers.It lets you experiment at leisure by running guitar, bass, keyboard, drum and even vocal tracks through amplifiers and effects pedals. As with many other techniques, you need the right tools.The Palmer trave is a passive reamping box that requires no external power supply. Inside is a specially developed transformer that converts the balanced line signal into an unbalanced Hi-Z signal with perfectly matched impedance for your guitar amplifier or effect pedal. At the same time, the trave prevents ground loops, which are otherwise almost unavoidable when you combine an audio interface or mixer output with a guitar amp or effects pedal. The input of this reamping box allows you to switch between consumer (-10 dBV) and professional (+4 dBu) levels, and the output level is continuously adjustable, so you can drive your amp or pedals just the way you like it.With the Palmer trave passive re-amplification box, you can add new creative sounds and timbres to your music and ultimately be true to your sound.

The reel is made of special plastic with a steel frame specially manufactured for Adam Hall. Sometimes it is necessary to send two stereo signals to one device, for example, when two mixing consoles have to drive a stereo power amplifier. In practice, this is rarely possible without ground loops occurring. The Palmer main solves this type of problem. It mixes two stereo input signals via a resistor matrix, whereby the input pair A is galvanically isolated by a transformer in order to avoid ground loops.The Palmer main works purely passively. The result is a particularly low noise floor and a neutral sound. Thanks to large transformers, it can handle high-level signals up to +20 dBu without distortion. The heavy table stand features an XLR microphone input, 28 V phantom power, an on-off-mute switch, as well as a gain control and a selectable 130 Hz high-pass filter to effectively reduce proximity effect and structure-borne sound. A high-contrast OLED display shows radio frequency, battery status, terminal number, group and channel. The audio transmission range is 60 Hz - 16 kHz. If you're looking to pick up a pure guitar, bass, or electric piano signal with all its brilliance and without any tonal shift - even stereo sources, or two instruments simultaneously - the Palmer inn active DI box provides the ideal solution. Its low-noise active circuitry allows a higher input impedance than a passive DI box. This means the sound of the instruments is captured without treble or bass losses. High-level input impedance is especially important in interaction with the magnetic pickups in electrical guitar, electric bass and electromechanical electric pianos (e.g. Rhodes), as well as with (passive) piezo pickups for acoustic instruments.
