Even in the SMALL configuration, the smallest MAILA system is an extremely powerful, active full-range stereo system. The ground stack system consists of one MAILA SUB 2x15'' high-performance subwoofer with cardioid function, three MAILA SAT satellites and one MAILA SPA amplifier module, which drives the satellites, per stereo side.
Like the larger MAILA configurations, MAILA S combines a variety of acoustic concepts to bring maximum power and sound quality from an exceptionally compact and versatile PA system. The 2.5 kW 2x15'' high-performance subwoofer uses a bandpass design and delivers a massive and powerful bass foundation with its newly developed SysCore® DSP.
The MAILA SAT satellites in the elegant unibody aluminium housing are based on the Advanced WaveAhead® technology. Here, five 1'' tweeters are placed in front of a 6.5'' midrange driver and coupled without interference via the SonicGuide® (two combined waveguides). Furthermore, despite the compact dimensions of the satellite, the integrated passive membrane provides extended punch down to 100 Hz. The result is a classic line array dispersion with impressive throw.
On the back of the housing of each MAILA SAT is a rotating handle which hides a groundbreaking innovation: via the patented EasySplay® mechanism, users can adjust the inclination of each individual satellite continuously from 0° to 8° in the blink of an eye. The angle can be adjusted with just one hand, even under load. In this way, every MAILA system offers a uniquely flexible concept for adapting the sound coverage to any sound reinforcement situation at any time.
MAILA is not just "one" product, but a scalable sound reinforcement system that sets new standards in its diversity and flexibility. If required, the MAILA SPA module with its SysCore® DSP can control up to eight MAILA SAT and, in addition to the ground stack variant, also enables flown configurations with a separately placed subwoofer. In this way, MAILA S covers small conferences and lectures just as effortlessly and precisely as DJ performances at festivals and corporate events or a small live band.
Directly on the device or via the free MAILA app (iPadOS), every MAILA system can be adjusted quickly, easily and in detail and supplied with software updates wirelessly. Based on the integrated LogoLink® Wireless Connection, operating ranges of up to 30 metres are no problem for MAILA under practical conditions. Once connected, the app automatically detects the available MAILA components and enables the system to be set up quickly and easily - including calculation of the SAT angles - in the run-up to an event. The highlight: the wireless antennas are invisibly integrated into the LD logos (LogoLink®).
With MAILA, LD Systems presents a new sound reinforcement concept with which users do not need to commit to one system only. MAILA has many faces.

The EasyMount+® mounting adapter enables truss or shackle mounting of MAILA array configurations in flown applications. The “DGUV regulation 17”-compliant mounting adapter made of steel with a robust powder coating can be attached to the MAILA SPA and COL amplifier module - the basis of every flown MAILA configuration - without the use of tools and suspended from the truss via a "self-lock" tube clamp. A "self-lock" rake is included in the scope of delivery for attaching to the truss. Alternatively, the system can be suspended using the shackle bracket included in the scope of delivery.Once mounted, the EasyMount+® bracket enables convenient 360° rotation and alignment of flown MAILA configurations - even under load with several attached MAILA SAT or MAILA COL modules. The mount can be equipped with a maximum of 8x SAT + 1x COL. A clever collar secures the vertical alignment of the loudspeaker array and allows it to be adjusted in the blink of an eye.Note: A shackle is not included in the scope of delivery.Only use suitable shackles Ø 12 mm!
The safest and easiest way to transport your MAILA SPA and SAT. This padded bag with smooth zip is made of durable and water-repellent nylon 1680D. Inside, a 16 mm thick padding between the devices protects the MAILA SPA and MAILA SAT from scratches, while the rubber feet on the bottom of the bag provide additional protection.The MAILA BAG has space for up to two MAILA SPA or two MAILA SAT and also has two additional side pockets for extra storage space. The bag has two handles that can be connected by a Velcro fastener with padding to form a carrying handle. The adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad is ideal for transporting the components and keeping your hands free for other equipment. At the same time, the MAILA BAG offers the optimal solution for all events where the use of a suitable MAILA transport case is not possible.
The MAILA DB EXT speaker pole extension enables the set up of MAILA ground stack systems, such as front and side fills, and is part of the article MAILA SPA STAND.Made of powder-coated steel, it has a fixed height of 50 cm and is screwed to the square steel plate (GTWB431B) using the M20 threaded bolt at the lower end. The M20 thread at the upper end is used to screw on the MAILA DB speaker pole.
MAILA SPA is the only MAILA module without integrated loudspeakers - and yet an integral part of the MAILA concept. Its versatility can already be guessed at by looking at the range of MAILA sets: The MAILA SPA amplifier module is used in the smallest MAILA-S ground stack set as well as in the large MAILA XL version with flown arrays.MAILA SPA is an amplifier module in elegant unibody aluminium design with integrated 1.25 kW power amplifier with SysCore® DSP for controlling up to eight MAILA SAT satellites. Via the SmartLink+® system, the satellites can be simply slid onto the SPA and wirelessly supplied with a signal. In addition, SmartLink+® enables automatic detection of the installed satellites for automatic or manual DSP processing.As with the MAILA COL column module, MAILA SPA allows users to create ground stack configurations with a speaker pole (included in the MAILA S set) as well as flown setups with the EasyMount+® mounting adapter.With LogoLink®, LD Systems has added another innovation to MAILA. MAILA SUB forms the basis of every MAILA system. The 2.5 kW 2x15'' high-performance subwoofer features a bandpass design and, with its newly developed SysCore® DSP, delivers a massive and powerful bass foundation in any application.The acoustic concept of the MAILA SUB is based on a planar wave bandpass design with quarter-wave horn and symmetrical driver construction. By placing the two 15'' speakers opposite each other, the MAILA SUB enables exceptional impulse compensation, resulting in a powerful and precise low-frequency punch.The four large-area bass reflex openings, in conjunction with the enclosure design, ensure optimised airflow and reduced flow losses, resulting not only in a lower noise level, but above all in higher efficiency at low frequencies.The enclosure of the subwoofer is made of 18 mm thick birch plywood. The MAILA SUB defies the rigours of everyday road use with a hard-wearing polyurea paint finish. A total of six carrying handles ensure optimum grip during assembly and dismantling. The MAILA COL full-range column module makes MAILA truly versatile. With its 4x 6.5'' woofers, the elegant column element not only provides an extended low-mid range, but also includes a 4-channel DSP amplifier with 2.5 kW total power, which drives both the column itself and the MAILA SAT satellites.In this way, MAILA sets with column module can not only be used as a ground stack variant, but also as a flown array consisting of MAILA COL and up to eight MAILA SAT - especially useful for festivals and fixed installations. In addition, as with a classic line array, users can select different subwoofer arrangements and adapt them to the sound reinforcement requirements on site.On the ground, the use of MAILA COL provides a further advantage: the interconnected column module allows ground stack sound setups that are significantly higher (up to 3.4 metres) than conventional systems and, with its greater throw, also enables uniform sound coverage in the far field.With LogoLink®, LD Systems has added another innovation to MAILA. The MAILA SAT satellite speaker is a true line array element and is full of surprises The elegant and robust unibody aluminium enclosure houses five 1'' tweeters in front of a 6.5'' midrange driver, arranged in a coaxial design based on Advanced WaveAhead® technology and coupled almost interference-free via the SonicGuide® (two combined waveguides). The result is a classic line array radiation pattern with impressive throw and energy density. The horn-loaded 6.5'' midrange driver with 1.8'' voice coil and neodymium driver features a split-path waveguide as well as a phase plug and enables a particularly high sensitivity in the midrange.The tweeter section is formed by five vertically arranged 1'' dome tweeters that do not require a compression chamber and thus offer an even and natural dispersion pattern (100° horizontal x 8° vertical). At the same time, the midrange driver's phase plug reduces the heat generated by the tweeter voice coils, contributing to the satellite's increased efficiency.
