This applies in particular to the MAUI G3 MIX versions, which feature integrated digital 6-channel mixers. All components are integrated and perfectly matched: mixer, effects, dynamics processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers, and speakers. Wireless remote control via a free MAUI app (available on iOS or Android smartphones and tablets) is also included.
The MAUI 11 G3 MIX delivers a huge, powerful, and precise sound with 730 W RMS power (1,460 Wpeak). It is suitable for various applications, for example as a main PA for singer-songwriters and small bands, a sound system for mobile DJs and formations, or a public address system at weddings, corporate events, and more.
The built-in 6-channel mixer adjusts to the user's preferences through the Easy and Expert Modes. Users can choose between intuitive 3-band EQs or more advanced 5-way full parametric control. A comprehensive effects section provides the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing options. Users can wirelessly control all mixer and effects settings through the app.
For stereo applications, two MAUI 11 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink®. In this setting, twice the number of mixer channels are available, and with the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.
With its sleek and elegant design, the MAUI 11 G3 MIX looks extremely appealing. The two aluminium column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer, further enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns are equipped with 6 x 3.5'' midrange drivers and 2 x 1'' tweeters, providing an even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion in combination with the innovative phase plug design. In addition, the curved waveguide – in front of the tweeters – carries the high frequencies right to the back of the audience areas.
The LD Systems engineers also took great care with the crossover filter between midrange and tweeter speakers. The aim was to reduce harmonic distortion and interference to make the sound even more transparent, vibrant and powerful. The result speaks for itself: a highly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion field.
The MAUI 11 G3 MIX columns are designed as cardioid units. This allows for controlled low mids at the front and up to 18 dB of attenuation at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound. Equipped with two 8'' woofers and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 11 G3 MIX subwoofer delivers a clear, tight and punchy low end down to 39 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, the bass response can also be increased by up to 6 dB, and it can also be driven in cardioid configuration at the push of a button (Cardioid preset). In addition, the subwoofer’s ultra-durable polyurea coating easily withstands even the toughest demands of life on the road.
The MAUI 11 G3 MIX is a real sound machine, yet will impress solo entertainers, singer/songwriters or small bands daily with its smart features. Transport is as easy as usual, while the hidden multi-pin connections between the elements provide increased stability during assembly. The magnetic subwoofer protective cap is a practical accessory for your MAUI 44 G2, MAUI 11 G3, and MAUI 28 G3 column speakers. It has been specially designed to cover the subwoofer/column connection plate when you want to operate the subwoofer without the column, as a follower subwoofer. The cap is precision-engineered and easily attaches thanks to an integrated magnet. This protects the connection plate from dust and dirt while maintaining a tidy appearance.
Crisper and more powerful bass with additional LD MAUI 11 G3 SUB subwoofer.With the MAUI 11 G3 SUB subwoofer, you extend the cardioid characteristics of our professional column speaker series right into the bass range.What does this mean?Simply position the SUB next to your MAUI® 11 G3 facing the rear direction, switch on the Cardioid preset and you will have a quieter and controlled Low-End on the back while still keeping the punch on the front. Low-End frequencies on the back of the system will be dampened by -15 dB. For extra Bass, keep the SUB in the same direction as your MAUI® 11 G3 and switch off the Cardioid preset.Setting up the SUB with your MAUI® 11 G3 is straight forward and fast. Thanks to its automatic set-up detection system the SUB immediately switches to FOLLOWER mode as long as no column is attached.Also recommendable is the protection cover and castor board to make transportation easy and keep the SUB as long as possible free of any touring-damage.The MAUI® 11 G3 SUB features the same design construction as the MAUI® 11 G3 subwoofer and will be the perfect addition to get your Low-End in control.
This castor board is made of 15 mm multiplex, which is extremely resistant and durable due to a polyurea coating. It is specially designed for the MAUI 11 G3 subwoofer. Four 80 mm heavy-duty swivel castors, two of which have locking brakes, make it easy to move the subwoofer.
With the padded protective cover made of durable and water-repellent 1680D nylon, the MAUI 11 G3 subwoofer is optimally protected from the weather and other influences. The 8 mm thick lined protective cover can be easily slipped over the standing subwoofer and, together with the optional MAUI 11 G3 CB castor board, offers comprehensive protection from all sides. The reinforced cut-out including Velcro flap on the top allows the subwoofer to be gripped and transported even with protection.The protective cover has an external pocket for stowing accessories such as mains and XLR cables.
The safest and easiest way to transport your MAUI® 11 G3 columns.This padded bag with smooth zip is made of durable and water-repellent nylon 1680D.Inside, an 8 mm thick padding between the columns protects against scratches. Additional protection is provided by the rubber feet on the bottom of the bag. Two included foam caps fit perfectly on the multipin contacts to protect them from damage and ensure a secure fit in the bag.The bag has two handles that can be connected by a velcro fastener with padding to form a carrying handle. The adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad, is ideal for carrying the columns and having your hands free for other equipment.
