19" Rack Lights

19" rack lights provide targeted and glare-free illumination of the operating elements of rack-mounted devices. This is very important to have in dark environments such as on stages, in front-of-house area, or in control rooms to ensure safe and error-free operation. Designed for standard 19" racks, the lights usually require one rack unit (1 U). They are available in different versions: models with swivelling LED or incandescent light arms, extendable versions, or strips with dimmable LEDs allow flexible adjustment of the lighting to the respective requirements. Some models are equipped with switchable light colours (e.g., white/red or other versions) to avoid impairing the user’s night vision. Power is usually supplied via an external power supply unit or optionally via a USB connection. For professional use, the housings are made of robust sheet steel or aluminium and offer a long service life – even under demanding conditions. The lights can often be easily retrofitted or replaced, making it easy to modernise existing racks. Practical additional functions such as memory functions or removable light arms also ensure greater convenience and flexibility in everyday use.
