Climate Protection made in Neu-Anspach
Our headquarters in Neu-Anspach is the starting point and control centre for our sustainability journey. From our base here, we empower positive change in all our countries of operation.
Step by step, measure by measure. After all, if you take responsibility seriously, then you start with yourself.
10,000 square meters of conviction
Putting a photovoltaic system on the roof of the logistics centre is a decision for change that we initiated. The system produces nearly 800,000 kWh of electricity every year, covering up to 70 % of our energy needs. Since 2023, we have paired this energy with certified green electricity, fully meeting our needs from renewable sources and saving us around 400 tons of CO₂ annually.
Heat generated regionally
Our HQ is connected to the city of Neu-Anspach’s district heating network, which uses regional biomass (wood chips) as a sustainable, renewable fuel. Only the CO₂ absorbed during growth is released when this system combusts. Climate-neutral. Based on the closed-loop economy. Focused on the future.

Mobility requires taking new directions. Some start right on our business premises.

Cooperation with JobRad: subsidised leasing of bicycles for those wanting to be more active during their commute.
A quiet yet impactful transformation in how we get around every day is thus underway.
Big things spring from small beginnings
Nearly 30,000 bees have been living on our company grounds since 2021 and been cared for by bee-keeping colleagues and external partners. They are a living contribution to preserving the flora in the surrounding region. Our company restaurant “Come Together” prepares food based on a zero-waste philosophy – with recipes that combat food waste and promote eating meat more conscientiously.
A plant-based dish of the day is offered and is always the most affordable option.
Since 2023, our to-go meals have always been served in reusable RECUP containers.
Now that’s what responsibility taste like.
