The dance floor has to stay fixed in place – during set-up, use, and quick changeovers. This dance floor tape is designed for professional butt and edge bonding of floor coverings in event and stage settings. The fabric-free PVC backing ensures that the tape lies flat and makes it perfect for clean transitions –- ideal when joints need to be sealed and edges stabilised without raising the installation height. Thanks to a material thickness of 0.12 mm and the standard width of 50 mm, joints on dance floors, transitions at platform edges, or temporary fastenings in installations can be implemented efficiently.

The natural rubber adhesive is engineered for fast initial adhesion and reliable hold on smooth, sealed substrates. The defined reference value for adhesive strength on steel is 4 N / 25 mm. – a practical indicator of performance on comparable smooth surfaces. In parallel, the backing can stretch up 150%, allowing the tape to better withstand movements and tensile stresses during use. The tensile strength of 50 N / 25 mm helps ensure that seams remain stable under tensile stress, for instance, on busy walkways or when working on edges and transitions.

The tape is designed for indoor applications and temporary use in protected outdoor areas – suitable for typical conditions in venues, studios, trade fairs, and day-to-day tour life.
