MAILA COL P

The MAILA COL P is the passive full-range column module with four high-performance 6.5" woofers. It reinforces the crucial low-mid band, adding headroom and authority where speech intelligibility, punch, and consistent throw matter most.

In ground-stacked setups, the column module enables significantly taller system builds for improved projection and more even coverage into the far field.

Flown, MAILA COL P forms a slim, visually discreet array base that integrates cleanly with up to eight MAILA SAT. Mounted directly via SmartLink+®, it enables a fast, tidy build without patch cables between modules – supporting clean, scalable system layouts from compact event coverage through to larger venues and fixed installations.

For passive MAILA systems, ADA amplifiers in combination with ArmoníaPlus provide a structured, repeatable setup workflow. We have transferred the MAILA Quick Setup approach into ArmoníaPlus by creating dedicated manufacturer EQs (MEQ) and presets for 250+ MAILA configurations. Select your MAILA configuration and receive the key setup guidance you need – such as pick-up points and satellite curving. The selected configuration includes the required compensation for loudspeaker coupling and air loss over distance, providing a reliable starting point. ArmoníaPlus supports our Wink-LED identification for passive MAILA components and offers further tuning options, including live Smaart integration, plus valuable insight into system health and available headroom.
