Features

The W-DMX™ feature facilitates the wireless transmission of DMX control data.

(Gobo wheel)
Gobo wheels are fitted with static or rotating gobos made of metal or glass. Gobos are essentially templates that allow the projection of patterns, shapes and graphics.

Circular prism
A circular prism multiplies the beam or the gobo projection, placing the result inside a circle.

Colour wheel
Turning the colour wheel, which is fitted with various filters, enables very fast changes of colour.

Focus
The focus function serves to focus the light beam and the gobo projection at any distance.

RDM
This device has full RDM capability. The RDM protocol supplements the DMX protocol and enables bidirectional communication via a standard DMX network. It simplifies configuration, administration and monitoring of RDM devices connected to an RDM controller.

Cold white
According to the colour temperature scale in Kelvin (K), “cold white” is a very bright, clear light in the colour temperature range between 5,000 and 10,000 K; it is slightly artificial in character and goes well with rich primary colours.

The PAN & TILT feature moves light emission along the X and Y axes.

CMY
This spotlight uses a white light source and subtractive CMY colour blending (cyan, magenta, yellow) for an extremely large palette of colours.

Iris
The iris is a continuously variable opening for altering the diameter of the beam.

The high-frequency control of the LEDs while dimming ensures flicker-free operation, including for filming purposes.

Description

AZOR® S2

Every year, countless artists, bands, actors and presenters stand on small to medium-sized stages and need light! For all these events, Cameo has developed the AZOR® S2. The compact spot moving head is the ideal partner for lighting designers and event service providers who are looking for a powerful and versatile LED show light that does not lack professional features despite its compact size.

The AZOR® S2 is based on a 300 W LED light source with 13,000 lumens of luminous flux and a wide zoom range of 5°-50° for precise adjustment of the light beam on any stage. The integrated rotating CMY colour mixing system is complemented by an additional colour wheel with 8 dichroic filters to perform lightning-fast colour changes and split colours in conjunction with the 630° pan and 270° tilt movement.

The AZOR® S2 is even more flexible thanks to the two gobo wheels with 8 rotating or 11 static gobos (each plus open). Additional effect options are created by the different prisms, both of which can be rotated and indexed.

Thanks to the adjustable PWM frequency (650 Hz - 25 kHz), the AZOR® S2 is also suitable for use in TV and broadcast applications as well as wherever a camera transmits the action and is dependent on flicker-free LEDs in the picture.

The compact spot moving head can be controlled via DMX512, RDM or wirelessly via W-DMX using the optional Cameo iDMX adapter. On the spotlight itself, buttons and an OLED display provide a convenient basic setup.
