The knife blade locks into place as soon as it is fully extended. After using it, the blade must be manually unlocked to close it, which provides extra security.

The removable pocket clip allows the multi-tool to be attached to a pocket or belt loop without the need for an additional holster. By removing the clip, the multi-tool can easily be carried in the holster.

Like a pocket knife, all the tools on this multi-tool are accessible from the outside when closed.
