Cameo at the Swandor Kemer Hotel in Turkey

Live events meet club vibes

Nestled in the picturesque coastal landscape of Kemer on the Turkish Riviera, the Swandor Kemer Hotel is one of region’s the most renowned resorts. Holding up to 3,000 guests, the Pegas Group hotel not only offers first-class accommodation, but also an extensive entertainment programme. Especially in the evening hours, the hotel’s two open-air stages – the Show Center and the Xone Club – are regularly transformed into lively venues for live concerts, dance shows, DJ sets, and themed nights. As part of a comprehensive renovation of the entire hotel area, the lighting technology on the two central stages was also revamped in 2025. The Turkish Cameo distributor Alkor Proje was responsible for the planning and realisation, relying on an equally versatile, powerful, and weatherproof lighting technology set-up.

Show Center: colours, precision, and TV-ready looks

The resort’s main stage – the Show Center – impresses with a covered stage area (27 m wide, 14 m deep, 11 m high) and seating for around 2,000 people. Elaborately staged evening shows featuring dance, acrobatics, and theatre take place here several times a week and are regularly recorded by the hotel’s in-house broadcast team. To achieve an impactful lighting effect, despite the 160 m² LED wall in the stage backdrop, Alkor Proje specifically opted for powerful fixtures with high light output and colour saturation: “The ZENIT W600 Wash Lights were the perfect solution here – powerful, weatherproof, and with brilliant colours,” says Murat Şerbetci, CEO Alkor Proje. The IP65-capable LED outdoor wash lights were complemented by FLAT PRO 18 G2 RGBWA LED Outdoor Spotlights for filling blind spots and more, as well as the OPUS H5 Beam Spot Wash Hybrid Moving Heads, which proved to be the ideal solution for beam effects in dynamic scenes thanks to their large zoom range. “Especially for dance scenes, the OPUS H5 delivers powerful beams that also measure up to the bright LED wall,” says Murat Şerbetci.

Another highlight on the Show Center stage are the F4 T LED Fresnel Spotlights, which ensure skin tones and costumes are naturally rendered from the upper front. “Thanks to their high CRI and flicker-free operation, the F4 T are perfect for camera shots, which was also an important requirement for the end customer.”

Xone Club: nightlife vibes in the open air

The party carries on in the adjacent Xone Club after the show programme wraps up. Live concerts by international artists (including INNA) as well as open-air DJ nights take place here. For the Xone Club stage, Alkor Proje created a lighting set-up that pleases both club and concert-goers. ZENIT W600 and FLAT PRO 18 G2 were used again for flat washes and coloured areas, supplemented by ZENIT W600 D Wash Lights for strobe and blinder effects. Thunder Wash 600 RGB for atmospheric background effects were used on top of this.

For facial lighting and costume lighting, Alkor Proje once again opted for the F4 T for natural skin tones and vibrant costumes on the club stage. In the audience area, the OTOS H5 IP65 Beam Spot Wash Hybrid Moving Heads provide bright and powerful beams that are visible from afar – reliable and IP-protected against sun, rain, and high humidity.

Investing in the future

The Cameo set-up in the Swandor Hotel was not only designed with everyday show use in mind, but also for longevity and ease of maintenance. “We used products that will still be competitive in years to come – without the need for immediate new investment,” confirms Deniz Değirmenci, Business Development & Sales Manager at Alkor Proje. “A decisive factor that satisfies the customer as well as us.”
