The Adam Hall Group builds on a long history in the industry. As both a manufacturer and distributer, with a market share that is currently steadily growing, and as an innovative, modern company, we have our eyes set on an even more impressive future. All of this makes responsible management indispensable. Sustainable strategies and structures, in all divisions all the way to Management, help with this.
As a manufacturer and distributer for event technology, with a strong relationship to music, we are convinced: it's not just the tune you play, but how you play it! That's why we treat all of our employees with respect and prize mutual respect in our business with customers and partners. Despite the increasing internationalisation of Adam Hall Group, we also maintain a strong connection with the region – as an employer and also as part of the social and cultural life of our headquarters in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt, Germany.
Already during my school and university years, I was passionate about organising events and bringing people together, which is why I founded an event company that later laid the foundation for a restaurant and a live club.
After some time there and in music production, I started my career at Adam Hall Group in IT and law after graduating in business law, but was also able to be incredibly versatile in marketing and build the department from the ground up. As a self-employed person for years, I found out how cool it can be to work in a company that is so dynamic and gives you a lot of creative freedom and great trust personally. In 2010, I eventually became a member of the management team.
After I took over the shares from the founder and then managing director David Kirby in 2013 as part of a management buy-out with my partner and COO Markus Jahnel, it is now my task as CEO of the Adam Hall Group to lead the spirit of the company into the next generation together with Markus and to keep the company fit for the future. This includes, among other things, the topic of sustainability, which I am also particularly interested in privately, in addition to the topics of leadership and innovation. But event technology and music also continue to play a big role for me in my private life, because I still love music production, DJing and collecting rock 'n' roll memorabilia.
Over the last few years, we have achieved a lot at Adam Hall Group and brought wonderful colleagues on board to work together on our mission: To develop cool event technology! This enables us to support our customers in creating magical moments and thus make our small but important social contribution to cohesion in society. Creativity, music, art and culture can be so much more than pure entertainment - that's what I want to prove, that's what drives me!
Where do you start when you have been associated with the company for 40 years? The best way is with an anecdote from 1982. In my home village in Weilrod-Oberlauken, there was a rumour that an Englishman was selling strange things.
I, 15 years young, needed money for my moped. So I went to David Kirby and asked for a temporary job. I got it, was the "girl for everything" and earned an incredible 5 DM per hour! That's how it was back then.
After an apprenticeship as a publisher's bookseller, a vocational baccalaureate and 15 months with the federal government, I finally landed at Adam Hall GmbH in 1989. Until 1995, I worked in sales in the office and in the field, followed by a parallel evening course of study at the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce), which I completed in 1996. After that, I was responsible for managing sales at Adam Hall GmbH for almost ten years as Global Sales Manager, followed by promotion to General Manager of the Adam Hall Group. In the course of the management buy-out in 2013, I acquired shares in the company together with Alexander Pietschmann. Since then, as Chief Operating Officer (COO), I have been responsible for the entire operational business in the area of sales/business development and the supply chain of the Adam Hall Group.
My personal interests and hobbies are almost as varied as Adam Hall's product range: Besides sporting activities, whether running, playing football or fitness boxing, I love reading and music from rock, pop, techno to classical. I love travelling, new countries and cultures, whether for business or pleasure with the family. To this day, I maintain many contacts worldwide and am very grateful that I can experience and live this way. Last but not least, besides my family, my personal highlight is our Elo dog Tallulah. I look forward to being able to contribute my experience to the Adam Hall Group for many years to come and to further expand my network.
I kicked my career off in 1993 with an apprenticeship at Frankfurt Airport because I really wanted to gain international experience and, as I understood it, the opportunities to grow professionally were only available in big cities.
Thanks to my strong ties to my home region in the Lower Taunus, it’s always been easy for me to strike a balance between work and leisure with many sporting, cultural, and musical hobbies. This creates a wonderful parallel to the Adam Hall Group, because although the company operates worldwide and is expanding sustainably, it remains strongly rooted in the region as an attractive employer with a wide range of commitments.
Backed by a corporate culture shaped by team spirit and passion for event technology in an exciting and innovative industry, the aim in future is to flexibly and proactively strengthen and develop further growth with operational excellence in a culture of continuous improvement. Thanks to a great team spirit and open dialogue, creative minds, and reliable processes, we will work together to set the right course for the future, and I am delighted to be able to contribute with my many years of supply chain and management experience in general.
There are real doers at work at the Adam Hall Group! That's what excited me right from the start. Here, all employees can actively participate in shaping the future of the company and that is only possible through short decision-making processes and cordial interaction with each other.
Since, as CFO, I am responsible for Finance, Accounting and Controlling as well as HR, I am even more pleased that we really live our corporate culture. Every day, you can feel a real spirit of innovation and a true passion for event technology and music in the teams. That's exactly why I feel so comfortable here and have been able to identify 100% with the company since my first day at Adam Hall Group in 2007!
I look forward to continuing to play my part in the company's international success in the future and can continue to feel so connected regionally through our unique headquarters in Neu-Anspach. A nice feeling, which makes me very proud!
This is exactly what drives us at Adam Hall and what we are committed to: To make products and processes for the event industry as reliable and user-friendly as possible. My passion for event technology and IT accompanied me early on through school and university and eventually led me to Adam Hall:
Sound engineering and IT administration helped me finance my studies. After working in product management, consulting and IT, I moved to Adam Hall. In 2016, I took over the IT department as Head of IT & Digital. Since 2019, I have been able to build on this wealth of experience to an even greater extent as CTO and authorised signatory of the company. As a member of the Executive Board, I am now also responsible for Research and Development (RnD) and thus our product development.
I feel very fortunate to be able to promote and develop people and topics through my work. People with great expertise in their field, with ambition and filled with a passion for what our industry is all about. Together we are writing the next chapters of our company's success story. And I am proud to be a part of it.
I have arrived at Adam Hall Group like in a safe haven and have found my place. I like the open, courageous and above all future-oriented atmosphere here. It ensures that each individual can develop further and that we grow together. That's how we make a difference - every day anew!
My work at Adam Hall Group was exciting and challenging from the very beginning. Constant development with new customers, target groups, brands, products and of course colleagues and processes. Of course, this encourages us to constantly develop ourselves as well. Again and again, customers and employees come up with new, good ideas that help us improve our processes and develop new products.
With 6 own brands and even more distribution brands, this constant growth presents us with great challenges. Creating new structures for this, in which we nevertheless remain agile and customer-centric, is what drives me.
At Adam Hall Group, the beauty is that people move forward together and implement ideas. New ideas are always being generated, no matter which department. So it never gets boring and you always learn something new.
My goal is to take IT to the next level and enable the rapid development of Adam Hall Group's IT so that everyone can keep up and no one is left behind. So that together we can achieve our goals.
I am driven by the desire to develop our products, our people and the organisation as a whole. The courage to trust young people, the willingness to admit mistakes and the openness to learn from them are what distinguish the Adam Hall Group.
My team and I see ourselves as a trustworthy and close partner for all colleagues. It is my conviction that we make a decisive contribution to an appreciative and strength-oriented corporate culture in which everyone can develop individually and we as a company can develop further.
As a kid I often dreamt of being an inventor. While it’s not my official job title today, working in Product Management at Adam Hall Group gets pretty close. Not only is there a lot of genuine excitement for new ideas but also good portion of courage, trust and empowerment to go pursue them.
