Starting with expert advice, making, accepting or following up offers and coordinating deliveries, all the way to processing complaints and providing customer care at the many trade fairs and events – for example in one of our many showrooms – the Adam Hall Group international sales department is a diverse and exciting area to work in and is the motor of the company.
Our expert advisors have business or technical qualifications, good knowledge of English – the export quota is more than 50 percent – are skilled in using the ERP systems and MS Office programs and boast a high level of technical knowledge in general. These prerequisites and the willingness to gain continuous further training distinguish our sales staff. Many are musicians or have worked as DJs or in the field of event technology.
The Adam Hall Group also seeks to maintain direct contact with customers in the future. But digital tools such as the new B2B web shop, customer-specific newsletters, the new, informative group page, software solutions and optimized processes increasingly ensure closer customer relations. The passion that the audience experiences at an event is always the result of great technology. And that’s exactly what every product manager in the Adam Hall Group team passionately works for. He closely observes the market in order to identify customer wishes and trends in his product category at an early stage and make the corresponding highlights available internationally. In his audio, lighting, stage or event technology division, he therefore has to think creatively, practically and technically at the same time – and always communicatively.
The product manager coordinates strategic and operational processes in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and various divisions. He accompanies the entire life cycle of a new product, from needs analysis and planning, through the development process and market maturity, right to the end. The product manager is thus something like a “godfather” of the product and assumes responsibility for its development and worldwide success with deftness and far-sightedness. With passion.
The Research & Development Department is the centre of new products at the Adam Hall Group. This is where product ideas find their way to series production, in close cooperation with product management. The team of engineers, product specialists and designers develop concepts, and assess the technical feasibility of new products. Using prototypes, the performance of each new development is critically compared with the requirements profile, and then optimised.
In the laboratories in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the R&D team have CAD workspaces available for their daily work, as well as the latest technology for electronic, acoustic and light measurement. In addition to flawless technical functionality, the goals also include guaranteeing a high level of reliability, while keeping an eye on economic feasibility.

The IT department at Adam Hall Group provides a wide range of communication and data processing services for employees, partners and customers. It operates IT solutions at its own locations as well as in the cloud, and it supports users at the company’s German headquarters and at international locations, as well as with mobile work tools all over the world.
The department is headed by our Director IT, Alexander Sonndag. It comprises more than 20 employees and trainees and is divided into three teams:

From software developers to system administrators, process managers and BI managers to e-commerce specialists, we offer a wide range of interesting challenges. Logistics and supply chain management at the Adam Hall Group have always functioned in the background as classic service departments. Nevertheless, the more than 70 staff members in the planning, quality control, value added service, warehousing, dispatch and project and process management departments are well aware of the immense importance of their tasks. It is only when every cog fits perfectly into the next that the goods can get from the production room to the customer at the fastest speed.
In addition to sophisticated prognosis software, the logistical centerpiece is the D1 main warehouse in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In order to meet the demands of the future, there will be space for approx. 9,000 pallets and an automatic small-parts warehouse facility with space for some 18,000 containers as of mid-2017. The second logistics location is the duty-free warehouse in Ningbo, China, which serves the Asian and American market and boasts short delivery times.
Internal and external cooperation and a well-coordinated team are of utmost importance. As is the skill to be able to grow beyond one's limitations at busy times in order that orders can be delivered on time.
Financing, Human Resources and Administration are multi-layered and diverse. The exciting challenges of upper management in the daily management of the company are dealt with; long-term and trusting partnerships with banks are maintained, and support is provided for exciting large-scale projects. In addition, Controlling has the daily challenge of making transparent reporting available to management for important company decisions.
It's the employees who put the company in the overtaking lane. This means that the Human Resources team competes for the world's best talent. At Adam Hall Group, sustainable human resources management doesn't end with the selection of the right employee. As well as recruiting, which is accompanied by strong employer branding, a lot of work is put into the successful onboarding of new colleagues. Administration looks after more than just office management. A visit to the company is made as comfortable as possible for visitors and guests. In intensive exchange with the constantly growing international network, the findings from this “think tank” will then influence the most diverse areas of the company.
