Sales Manager Professional lighting (m/f) – UK market

German group with strong global growth, manufacturer and distributor of the brands Cameo lighting, LD Systems, Palmer, Defender and Gravity and a catalogue of over 6,000 products extending over the Professional lighting and sound markets, recruits for our Adam Hall UK Branch a Sales Manager Professional Lighting  in the UK for one of our main brands Cameo® which has quickly become a leading brand for professional lighting technology. Its product range, which is furnished with the latest technology, includes Static lights, moving heads, battery operated fixtures, lighting effects, Theatre lights, lasers, LED strips, Atmospheric effects,  DMX controllers and specialist accessories.

 

You should have a successful track record as a sales professional demonstrating a strong understanding of lighting equipment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in our industry in a sales role working with Professional lighting technology in the entertainment, theatre, event, light designers, consultants, and systems integration markets and must be able to organize and manage product demonstrations, discuss installation projects and product applications with your customers.

 

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Retain and grow existing customers with a consistent and lasting relationship based on listening and quality of service 
  • Collaborate and be a good relay of information from our Product Managers and Senior Management to achieve the sales and marketing objectives of our business 
  • You are responsible for your area and have a mission to develop the turnover of brands distributed by Adam Hall Group
  • Want to be a part of a successful team supplying the lighting market

 

Your profile:

 

  • A solid knowledge of the UK professional market covering the Entertainment, Theatre, Event, light Designers, consultants and systems integration markets
  • Technical training and strong sales affinity, with experience in a similar position 
  • Ambitioned, driven and energetic
  • Full clean UK driving license and ability to travel large distances with regular overnight stays
  • Computer literate, ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sales packages
